Margaret in Livingston wanted a custom built wardrobe to be used as storage for coats and shoes and other outdoor clothing. As her existing cloakroom was cluttered and did not accommodate all of her outdoor clothing. Richard discussed the details of her project and planned a solution. The solution was a 3 door wardrobe with an internal mirror, storage drawers and shelving. The furniture was mainly manufactured in the work shop and then installed on site. One of the requirements was that the materials used in the production of the wardrobe were to be suitable for wood staining, which the customer completed at a later stage.
